Women's Seeds – 2011 NCAA Fencing Mid-Atlantic/South Regional

Note that this regional seed info. still is subject to change (possible, but unlikely), due to recalculations or withdrawals.

Qualification for the NCAA Championships is based on a formula combination of Fencer Seed Factor/FSF (40%) and Regional finish (60%). The Northeast has six automatic berths to the NCAA Championships in women's foil and women's sabre (seven in women's epee). There is a maximum of two entries per school in each weapon.

First-round pools determine 12 fencers that will combine with the top-12/byes in 2nd-round of pools ... 18 then advance to the 3rd round of pools and the top-12 in the 3rd round will compete in final pool-of-12 (full round-robin).

MA/S men's seeds were posted on previous blog post ... still to come are Midwest women, all of the Northeast and then the Midwest men.

CF360 hopes to be tracking the action all day (via Twitter feed CF360updates and this CF360 blog).
