Midwest Regional - 2011 Women's Seeds (NCAA Fencing)

Note that this regional seed info. still is subject to change (possible, but unlikely), due to recalculations or withdrawals.

Qualification for the NCAA Championships is based on a formula combination of Fencer Seed Factor/FSF (40%) and Regional finish (60%). The Midwest has five automatic berths to the NCAA Championships in each weapon. There is a maximum of two entries per school in each weapon.

In women's foil, there is an initial round of three pools-of-6, with top-14 advancing ... rd-2 is two pools-of-7, with top-10 advancing to a final pool (full round-robin).

In women's epee and sabre, there are play-in pools to cut from 15 to 12 in epee and 16 to 14 in sabre ... rd-2 is two pools-of-6 (epee) or 7 (sabre), with top-10 advancing to a final pool (full round-robin).

Mid-Atlantic/South men's and women's seeds were posted on previous CF36- blog posts ... still to come are all of the Northeast and then the Midwest men.

CF360 hopes to be tracking the action all weekend (via Twitter feed CF360updates and this CF360 blog).
