Expanded and Informative Coverage on the Way ...

CollegeFencing360 is planning expanded coverage, as we head into the four NCAA Regionals and the full NCAA Championships. Here are some things we hope to be providing over the next few weeks (and, in some cases, into April and the summer months). Our primary focus over the first month of CF360 – which has featured nearly 2,100 unique visitors to the site (and several high-traffic days) – has been on basic content, but we hope to carve out some time for these additional offerings:

• Final wrapups of the IFAs and MFCs, including a recap tribute to the Penn men and Ohio State men/women

• Continuing fencer-of-the-week releases (including one later today and one next week).

• Informative posts about how NCAA postseason fencing (and college fencing in general) actually works – separating facts from fiction and cutting through the confusing aspects of the sport (send us your questions, to editor collegefencing360.com).

• Full coverage of the NCAA regionals and Championships (CF360 may be on hand at Penn State, for the finals).

• An assortment of possible end-of-the-year awards, with input from various people in the college fencing community.

• A potential new design template, with wider dimensions allowing for more content – plus space for potential advertisers (our focus on content has come at the expense of publicizing the site and contacting potential advertisers ... if you know somebody interested in advertising on CF360, please contact editor@collegefencing360.com).

• Repackaging the existing blog posts in an archived/grouped format.

• A coaches contact page, making it easy for site visitors to get in touch with the various college fencing head coaches (and their staffs).

• Introduction of audio and video contact – plus more photos.

• More historical pieces and feature story offerings.

• Signup for a free CF360 email newslatter.

• An April look at how college fencing recruiting is shaping up, as teams turn their focus to putting together championship-caliber teams for 2010.

• We also will track the college fencers who will be competing in the World Junior Championships (and the full World Championships).

That's a full rundown of our wish list. Be on the lookout for these exciting new offerings – and always feel free to pass along your feedback and suggestions. ... And thanks for your support and interest in CollegeFencing360.com.
